About The Band
Low Country audiences continue to swing to the sounds of the HH Big Band. With soaring horns, toe tapping rhythms and smooth vocals, the band continues to entertain with pop songs from bands and entertainers such as the Beatles, Blood Sweat & Tears, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Tina Turner, Van Morrison, Michael Buble, and many others. Their high energy performance of hit songs from the 60’s to the present day will have you dancing in the aisles. The talented musicians who make up the more than 24 piece ensemble have played with music greats including Buddy Rich, James Brown, Three Dog Night, and the Righteous Brothers. From the syncopated samba rhythms of “It Better Be Tonight” to the driving beat of “I’m So Excited”, the diverse repertoire of the HH Big Band has something for everyone.
Our vast repertoire gives us the flexibility to create a tailor-made program for your next event. The Band provided entertainment at The Italian Festival on Hilton Head, at the Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Resort Ballroom, and the Shelter Cove Marina. The band has also performed at the Landings Club at Skidaway Island, Savannah. While your organization enjoys our music, you will also be supporting young musicians in the Low Country. To book the HH Big Band for your next event contact Brian Lenehan at 734-657-8459, or email us at hhbigband@hotmail.com.

Our Vision
The Hilton Head Big Band looks to the future with energy, creativity, and community impact. We aim to keep our repertoire fresh, expand musical styles through enhanced instrumentation, and showcase both classic big band and contemporary favorites.
The band plans to continue growing its Winter Holiday program, performing for larger audiences and sharing the holiday spirit with the community. Performances are designed as full “shows,” with interaction, energy, and connection that bring both musicians and audiences together. Supporting local music education remains central, including scholarships, youth programs, and partnerships with area schools.
Most importantly, the band is committed to preserving the camaraderie, fun, and family spirit that define who we are—because while growth and skill matter, the joy of playing together is what truly counts.
